"The Night Before Christmas" by Liz DeHoff (AerobicLiz@aol.com) 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Youth Center, Bulk could be heard screaming, 'cause his butt had a splinter. The Rangers were decked in their holiday best And hoped that for Christmas they'd be getting a rest. But Rita and Zedd, on the moon, said, "That's it! We'll ruin their Christmas with our best monster yet!" And so to their evil plans they turned to play, Never dreaming that someone might get in their way. They had almost finished and were feeling good When _he_ came along and put a stop to that mood. "How dare you two try to spoil Chrismas for Earth?" said old Santa Claus. "Do you know what that's worth? You've managed to ruin every other day of the year. Give them a break for a change, or beware! I'll bring you no presents unless you relent! Now, I've said what I've said, and that's what I meant! Remember!" he shouted, his white beard shaking. He left them quite suddenly, and he left them quaking. "No presents?" whined Rita, suddenly fearful "Well, maybe we'll beat them if they're feeling cheerful!" Her husband agreed with a short, single gesture And their plans for another day were left to fester. Tommy, alone, had sat down with a sigh When his sad mood was shattered with a single "Hi!" He turned to see Kimberly walking up to him and a happy feeling went coursing all through him. "I thought you were gone!" he said with a smile. "I came back to see you," she said. "It's been a while. We're under the mistletoe," she told him quite slyly. Tommy looked up and his face grew all smiley. And as he leaned towards her, he swore he could hear, "Merry Christmas, young Rangers, and have a good year." "Christmas in MMPR" By Robert McKeone (MooTant@aol.com) Twas' the night before Christmas, And all through the Command Center, Not an alarm was busing, Not even the Rangers'. When up on the Moon, Rita fell out of bed, Zedd sprung awake, To yell, "Aw, Keep it down, Sweety-Head." What to Goldie's, Wanderin' eyes should appear, But that goof Squatt, And his toy reindeer. While back in Kim's bed, She slept there with her powerless self, She drempt in a moment, That a guy on a White-Falcon would be there. With a slap of Tenga's beak, And a yank of their feathers, Rito cursed and shouted, And call them by name. Yo Polly, Yo Woddy, Yo Robin, Yo Daffy, Ay Plucky, Ay Donald, Ay Screwy, Ay Louie. As I drew out my MMPR NL's, And hid by my bed, Down came the Tengas, On top of my head. There eye's glowed, There B.O. was scary, One's breath was like sewege, And another had a mole that was hairy. They spit on my eye, And twisted my head, They soon let me know, I should consider myself dead. After poking me in the eye, Right under my nose, There was a bright light, And some new hope arose. The Rangers jumped into action, The Tengas were weakened, And away they all flew, Before the Rangers gave them the beating. Then I heard the White one exclaim, or better yet address, "Merry Christmas to you, and let me get some sleep you pest." "The X-Mas/MMPR Diddy" by Nicole Watson (ILvJnyBsch@aol.com) Goldar got ran over by the Me-ga Zord Com-ing from a battle Christmas Eve, You may say there's not such thing as Zordon, but as for Zedd and Rita they believe! "I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger" T'was the night before Christmas and on the North Pole Brainwashing children was Lord Zedd's goal His invention was stirring, all the plans had been made So, Rito and Goldar and the Tengas just played While Santa and his helpers are held at his shop there's a good chance that Christmas will just go kerplot Now, the Rangers are summoned to put a stop to this deed But, have they the power they'll eventually need? * * * MMPR CHRISTMAS PROJECTS * * * How to make a MMPR SCRAPBOOK for Christmas You will need: A scrapbook MMPR pictures, articles, info, etc. Here's what you do: 1. Zordon helps out by using his magic to decorate the Command Center. Meanwhile, Alpha admits that he misses the Rangers, who are busy helping Santa. At the same time, Zedd is complaining about the holiday to his companions and begins to plan a way to shut down Christmas. Back at the Command Center, Alpha still could not get into the Christmas spirit. So, Zordon teleports children from all over the world. Then, they all sing "Deck the Halls". As the children and Alpha begin to make Christmas decorations, Zordon points out that Lord Zedd has sent down another monster. Alpha points out that they can't contact the Rangers because their signals don't reach the North Pole. So, Alpha uses satellites to "bounce the signal around the globe". From the balcony of the Chamber of Commands, Goldar explains to Lord Zedd that recreating Primator to impersonate the Power Rangers was a great idea. Zedd agrees. At the Command Center, Alpha begins the process of contacting the Power Rangers. To comfort the kids, they all sing "Jingle Bells". When the singing is over, the uplink has finished and Alpha contacts Aisha. Alpha explains that Primator is impersonating the Rangers and stealing presents, causing everyone to lose their holiday spirit. Aisha promises to alert the others. Alpha returns to the kids and decides to make cookies. As they bake, they sing "Up On The House Top". Then, the alarm sounds. Primator has made himself look like the White Ranger and is attacking Angel Grove. Just then, Adam makes contact with the Command Center and tells them that they are ready to morph. The Rangers morph to downtown Angel Grove. As they battle Primator, he changes himself into various Rangers and confuses our heroes. Tommy comes up with an idea by making Primator so furious he turns back into his regular form. The Rangers take on the monkey again and appear to be winning the battle. The sight of Power Rangers angers Lord Zedd and he throws a beam of magic to make Primator grow. The Rangers form the Red Dragon Thunderzord in its Warrior Mode and the Assault Team. When they both appear to lose against the monster, they form the Mega Tigerzord, who destroys Primator with the help of the Red Dragon Thunderzord. In the Command Center, the children jump for joy. Kimberly, Billy, and Tommy inform Alpha that Adam, Rocky, and Aisha are back at the North Pole, helping Santa. Before they leave, Alpha makes a request and the kids, Alpha, and the three Rangers sing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". The kids must teleport back to their homes so Alpha gives them presents and then teleports them out. He has found his Christmas spirit. ALPHA'S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS Produced and Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by John Stewart Summary: Alpha can't get into the Christmas spirit because the Rangers are helping Santa get presents ready for Christmas. He decides that decorating will bring Santa and the Rangers to the Command Center. Zordon adds a Christmas tree as a Christmas gift to Alpha. "O Christmas Tree' plays as Alpha decorates the tree. At the same time, many kids are decorating their trees all over the world. Alpha admits to Zordon that he is lonely. Zordon tells him to press a green button and when he does, children from all over the world are teleported as Alpha and the kids sing "Here We Come A'Caroling". Alpha welcomes the kids. The party begins with the kids making Christmas decorations while Alpha decorates with magic and the kids sing "Deck the Halls". Alpha asks a kid about a family tradition and he answers riding sleighs. Alpha asks if it has jingle bells on it and "Jingle Bells" is inevitably sung. A girl suggests making Christmas cookies. They sing "Good King Wenceslas", whom Alpha mentions probably wanted cookies. All of the kids declare that they are thinking about presents so "Up On The House Top" is sung as Alpha hands out the presents. The alarm sounds as a direct communication link with the North Pole. The kids gather around the Viewing Globe to say hello to Santa and the Power Rangers. Then, the children sing "Jolly Old St. Nicholas" as they play with various gifts. The kids ask what Alpha is wishing for for Christmas and he wishes that the Power Rangers could be with him. They sing "I'll Be Home For Christmas" as a montage of the Rangers is played on the Viewing Globe, featuring all of the Rangers and Alpha. The kids have to go but mention that they have a present for Alpha, which turns out to be love. Before they go, they sing "Silent Night" and then they go through a teleportation portal and Alpha is sad again. Alpha thanks Zordon and then the alarm sounds, mentioning an incoming teleportation. Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy have taken some time away from their family to wish Alpha a merry Christmas and then wish for peace on Earth. Before they go, Alpha uses his Christmas magic to bring snow into the Command Center. Then, Alpha begins singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and the Rangers join in, waving to the camera. A montage of the Rangers fills the screen and their greatest moments is seen during the singing. Then, the three wave goodbye. Alpha thanks the viewer for spending Christmas with him and then "Jingle Bells" plays over the credits, with shots of the episode. Video Summary: It's the night before Christmas and all through the Command Center not a creature is stirring except for Alpha-5 screaming, "Ai Yi Yi Yi Yi!" It just doesn't seem like Christmas Eve for Alpha. The Power Rangers are busily helping Santa Claus with his sleigh, and Zordon doesn't exactly make the best buddy to celebrate with. Then, Alpha has a truly awesome idea! He'll have a magical Christmas party and teleport kids from around the world through the portal to help decorate the Command Center. Join Alpha and his new friends as they sing, "Oh Christmas Tree," "Jingle Bells," "Silent Night," and many more classic Christmas songs. So, what's Christmas without the Power Rangers? Can they finish Santa's sleigh in time to celebrate the festivities with their best friend Alpha? Bring the magic of Christmas into your home with Alpha's Magical Christmas. The other is six Rangers (Red, Green, Yellow, Black, Pink, and Blue) helping Santa pack presents into a bag. Note: On video only. I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE RANGER Written by Ron Milbauer & Toni Hughes Directed by Douglas Sloan Summary: It is Christmas Eve and we see the male Rangers enter the decorated Youth Center as Aisha conducts a children choir for the upcoming Holiday Pageant, while Kim accompanies on guitar. The kids sing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" as the titles are rolled. Then, the Rangers meet at the counter and discuss the spirit of the season. Ernie gives Tommy the star for the top of the tree and Tommy asks a sad girl named Becky to put it on top of the tree for him. He lifts her up and she does so. Meanwhile, Kim admits that she misses her mom, since it's her first Christmas without her. And, Bulk and Skull enter the Youth Center in uniform with Skull belting out the grunge version of "Jingle Bells". Bulk complains about playing Santa at the pageant. Kimberly is too short to hang the mistletoe so Tommy helps her out. After it is hung, Tommy follows the tradition and tries to kiss Kimberly but Skull interrupts by kissing Kim on the cheek. Bulk attempts to get a kiss but Tommy scares him off. ON THE MOON, Zedd creates Lord Zedd's Hypno-spin, a toy that brainwashes children to work for him. Zedd sends Rito to the North Pole to put the elves at work on his plan. AT THE YOUTH CENTER, the last run-through for the Holiday Pageant is going on. The kids sing "O Hanukkah" with mere mumbles from Becky. After the run-through is over, Kim and Aisha confront Becky, who explains that no one is going to be at the pageant to hear her sing. AT THE NORTH POLE, the elves work on the toys in a rush. Suddenly, the Tengas and Rito appear and order the elves to mass produce the Hypno- spins or else. At the same time, Tengas tie up Santa with Christmas decorations. OUTSIDE THE JUICE BAR, Kim talks to Becky, who is sad because her dad has to work instead of come to the pageant. Kim agrees that it's sad but points out that parents have to do what's best for the family. She advises Becky that she should tell her father how he feels and promises that she'll be there tonight to hear Becky sing. They walk inside and Kim stops under the mistletoe with Tommy. They are about to kiss but the communicator sounds and the Rangers gather and teleport to the Command Center, where Zordon explains that Zedd has captured Santa and is forcing the elves to mass produce Lord Zedd's Hypno-spins. They plan to teleport to the North Pole but Zordon explains that their morphing powers will not work there. They decide to take a chance but before they leave, they give their holiday wishes to Kat via Viewing Globe. Then, they teleport to the NORTH POLE and think up a plan outside of Santa's house. Inside, the elves teach Rito about Christmas and caring. ON THE MOON, Goldar points out that Rito is weakening so Lord Zedd sends him down to get things on track. BACK AT THE YOUTH CENTER, the kids are sad that Santa has not showed up but Ernie promises them that he will arrive and silently wishes for "Tommy and the gang" to get there soon. Then, Becky gets worried that Kim is not going to show up as she promised and begs Bulk and Skull to help her find Kimberly. But, Bulk and Skull are too busy planning the rest of the night and leave to get into their costumes. AT THE NORTH POLE, Billy suspects that Rito's powers won't work since theirs don't. So, Kim and Aisha sneak inside and whisper their plan to an elf. Then, they get Rito to follow them outside. OUTSIDE SANTA'S HOUSE, Goldar appears beside Rito and the two must dodge snowballs thrown by the six Rangers. To escape the snowballs, they run into the cottage where they trip over ribbon being held by two elves. The Tengas run to help but two elves spill marbles on the floor and they slip. Next thing you know, Rito, Goldar, and the Tengas are all tied up ... literally! Alpha teleports them back to the moon through the Command Center. ON THE MOON, Zedd and Rita scold the tied-up villains. BACK IN SANTA'S COTTAGE, the Rangers help the elves get ready since they are so much behind schedule. They finally finish in time and thank Santa for the wonderful things that he does. Santa promises to get rid of the Hypno-spins and then gives the Rangers a bag of toys for the kids at the Youth Center. ON THE MOON, the team of villains open a gift from Santa to find the Lord Zedd's Hypno-spins and the card attached reads "If you start working very hard right now, perhaps by this time next year you'll have something more under your tree. Merry Christmas!" Then, Rito gives Goldar a gift and the villains are disgusted. AT THE YOUTH CENTER, Bulk (as Santa) and Skull (as a reindeer) akids what they want for Christmas. Then, the Rangers arrive with the toys from Santa. Kim finds Becky and points out that her father is there. He thanks Becky for telling him how she felt and promises to spend more time with her. Then, Becky thanks "Santa" for bringing 'her daddy' to the pageant and Bulk and Skull are deeply touched. Then, Kim and Tommy finally share a special kiss under the mistletoe. And, Kim discovers that her mom (and French husband) are there. They hug as her mom explains that she couldn't spend Christmas without her. The pageant is performed, centering on Becky as the group sings "Silent Night". Everybody who contributed to the episode is seen enjoying the music. At the end, the whole cast groups together and shouts "Merry Christmas!" Video summary: It's Christmas, a time of joy and happiness for all. All except Lord Zedd that is. The supreme evil one is plotting to take over Santa's workshop and force the elves to make his very own brain washing toys. With one under every Christmas tree, all the children in the world will be under his wicked spell! Can the Power Rangers upset Lord Zedd's evil plans? Can they free Santa? And if they fail, will the children of the world ever experience the joy of Christmas again? Differences between the video and the episode: 1. The theme shows clips of "I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger" and the titling is different. The credits on the video show clips from the episode and the credits from the show show a scene that was edited out. 2. In the video, an elf educates Rito about Christmas. This can be seen on the "blooper credits" of the episode however (For lack of blooper, I guess) 3. In the video, Zordon points out Kat in the Viewing Globe, who says "Merry Christmas!" 4. The video includes a scene with Goldar complaining about Rito weakening was edited out from the episode and Zedd and Rita celebrating. 5. In the video, Ernie is handing out hot chocolate to the kids and promises them that Santa will be there soon. 6. In the video, the final moon scene is different. On the show, they never get a "Maybe next year" note from Santa and the villains never mention that they want to hurl after Rito gives Goldar a gift. Bonus: Comes with a free White Ranger ornament. * * * MMPR CHRISTMAS PICTURES * * * /\ / \ /__\ UNDER THE TREE .... |_| __~()()~_ |\\ = || = //| | \\= || =// | .... IS A PRESENT!
