For the first time in Power Rangers history, Bandai America is offering a set of collectible figures based on previous seasons of the popular TV show.

The 5.5” Special Edition Red Ranger figures are modeled after the current season, Mystic Force, as well as 5 of the most popular seasons from the past, including Mighty Morphin (’93-’95), Zeo (’96), Turbo (’97), In Space (’98) and Lost Galaxy (’99). Each highly detailed figure comes with a weapon accessory, as well as a display stand for posing the toy. This retailer exclusive is perfect for young kids who love action figures and the adult collector who grew up as a Power Rangers fan.

Fans have already been quick to nickname this line, "The Forever Red" line, in homage to the episode of the same name, which saw ten Red Rangers team up for a battle on the moon, five years ago.

On the eve of the toy line’s 15th anniversary, the Power Rangers are gearing up to “Get Powerized” with fans across the country on their eight city tour.  Starting September 23 in Bentonville, Arkansas, kids of all ages will get the rare chance to meet up close the Mystic Force Power Rangers – from the current season of this perennial favorite TV show – while participating in fun and interactive activities.  The “Get Powerized” tour will then rollout every successive weekend to the following cities: Boston (Sept. 29-Oct. 1), Chicago (Oct. 6-8), Atlanta (Oct. 13-15), Dallas (Oct. 20-22), Houston (Oct. 27-29), Los Angeles (Nov. 3-5), and San Diego (Nov. 10-12).

The Power Rangers Zone at every “Get Powerized” Tour stop includes cool toy demos and activities, a green screen photo area where kids can reenact a scene from their favorite show and a drawing to win a limited edition golden Megazord that is not available in stores.  The free admission tour will stop at various major toy retailers in each city, giving fans multiple chances each weekend to experience the action.

Disney Consumer Products recently announced that the new season for 2007 will be titled Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, and not Power Rangers Relic Hunters, as previously thought. The new show will launch in February on Toon Disney. Based on the Sentai series Boukenger, the show will follow the five Overdrive Rangers as they battle evil and defend the Earth. The five Rangers will soon be joined with a the sixth member, the Silver Ranger. A unique aspect of the new show is just how many Zords will be featured- up to 18 at present, all able to combine in one way or another. Casting is currently underway for Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.

As reported earlier in the year, Bandai are hosting a "Complete the Ending" competition, which is open to PR fans aged 8 and uder. The prize is the opportunity to win a $5,000 cash scholarship coming up with a conclusion to the cliffhanger movie that is currently featured online at GetPowerized.com. All you need is a basic video camera, digital camera and/or computers to show your Mystic Force action figures and other toys in action. 

At the end of the contest, fans will be able to vote for their favorite entry on the Web. One finalist will win the cash scholarship prize, while everyone who votes online will be entered into another sweepstakes to win Power Rangers DVDs and other prizes.

The Power Rangers brand demonstrated once again its phenomenal popularity by topping the 2005 year-end sales charts. The evergreen brand, now in its 14th year, has consistently ranked high among boys' toys since being introduced in 1993 by Bandai America Inc.

For the past 13 years, Power Rangers action figures have captured the imaginations of young boys as they engage in the triumph of good over evil. Finally, the news all PR fans have been waiting for! According to amazon.com, the first two complete season DVD boxsets of PR will be released later in the year. "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Complete Season One" and "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Complete Season Two" will be released August 15th 2006, as part of the shows' anniversary celebrations. The price is expected to be $45.99 per boxset.

Buena Vista press material claim that there will be a blanket media blitz, consisting of print and TV advertisments to begin on July 7th. Bandai also confirm that as part of the celebration, certain toys will be released under special anniversary lines. It has not yet been confirmed what these toys are, but an announcement is expected at the end of June.

Bandai have launched a new website devoted to the new Mystic Force line for 2006. GetPowerized.com features a real Mystic Force "Toy Story", in which the Mystic Force Light figures battle against hoardes of Evil Space Alien figures, using their new Mystic Speeders. In addition to this video commercial, they have a decent guide as to what to expect from the upcoming Spring line.

Jetix have revealed that the rest of SPD will begin airing in the UK as of February 11th. This news follows the promotion of a new PR week, called "All the Colours of a Ranger Week".

Power Rangers Mystic Force episode titles are now known. The first two episdes, which will air as a feature length special on the 20th of Februray, have been named as "Broken Spell, Part 1" and "Broken Spell, Part 2 ". The episode title of episode three is "Code Busters ", which will probably see the Rangers getting to grips with their number-controlled Morphers, and activating their Zords.

Power Rangers Mystic Force has been entered into our Database. Information on the new Mystic Force Rangers, Titan Zords, weapons and more, will be updated closer to the premiere.

Now that Magiranger is almost at the end of its 48-episode run, it's time to reveal the new Sentai series for 2006. Treasure Fleet Boukenger will premiere February 26th 2006, and will feature a team of five Rangers, in the classic colour scheme of Red, Blue, Black, Yellow and Pink. Like Gaoranger and Magiranger before it, Boukenger will transform with Cell-phone style Morphers. The promotional picture released suggest that the Mecha will be based on Consruction vehicles.

With Disney and Toei working more closley than ever before, it was only a matter of time until the unprecedented move of an original PR creation featuring in it's Japanese equivilent. In the first promo pics from the upcoming annual Sentai teamup, it is revealed that PRSPD's Battilizer Armour will be used as DekaRed's new weapon.

The very latest PRMF toys have now started to appear in toy stores throughout the USA. Releases include the DX Titan Megazord, the five 5" Mystic Rangers and Evil Space Alien, as well as Zord-Morphin Rangers. The new range should be availible on general release in the US in the New Year.
