"Plans are underway for the First Annual QLS Angel Run and Vegas Fun Benefit to be held on Saturday, October 29th at the QLS Fitness Center in Humble, Texas. The event will kick off with a 5k Family Fun Run and Costume Parade beginning at 9:00 am. Costume awards will be given in a number of categories.

Festivities will continue until noon with face painting, pumpkin painting, tattoos, clowns, rock climbing, jump zones, and a haunted house. Jason David Frank of the Power Rangers will make a guest appearance at the event. Photo opportunities will be available."

The latest generation of Power Rangers gets its UK debut in Jetix Magazine issue 12, on sale Thursday 14th July.

The official magazine of the top kids TV channel, Jetix, begins its Countdown to Power Rangers SPD with the first of three exclusive fact files profiling the new Rangers. The preview will culminate in issue 15 (on sale 6th October) with the launch of the brand new Power Rangers SPD comic strip. The ongoing comic strip is created by the legendary team of Simon Furman and Andrew Wildman, who are best known for their work together on the Transformers comic strips for Marvel UK in the 1980s and also the recent Dreamwave Transformers comic series.
The first story, "Mind-Crime", sees the characters of the hit new TV series come up against the first wave of Emperor Grumm’s assault on Planet Earth.

Editor Cavan Scott said: “It’s fantastic to have Simon creating the first comic strip adventures of Power Rangers SPD. If you’re a fan of Space Patrol Delta you’ll love these brand new adventures of all your favourite characters! You won’t want to miss a single issue of Jetix Magazine!”

These are not simply recordings from television broadcasts, but actual english-language DVD releases, including opening and closing credits, as well as the Previously segments.

The latest news from the 2005 Licensing Show reveals the new promo information about the next incarnation of Power Rangers. The 2006 show will be based on MagiRanger, and will air under the title of Power Rangers Mystic Force.

In the new series, Earth is living in a time of peach when quiet serenity is shattered under attack from a new evil. It is then that five daring teens learn their true identities - heroes entrusted with mystical powers destined to defend the Earth as Power Rangers Mystic Force.

The first Mystc Force promos will begin airing in January 2006, and the show will begin airing in late February 2006. Expect Bandai to release the Spring Line of PRMF toys shortly after New Year.

White Ranger One Hr Reveal Mini-Marathon

Well, MagiRanger is moving along quickly. Which means more from the land of the Rising Sun, where Spoilers are abound. We now have the first pictures of the sixth MagRanger to join the team- the golden Magi Shine! He will come equipped with a Magic Lamp that houses a large humanoid Cat creature- and no, we're not making this up. Upcoming episodes will also see a new Mecha, in the form of a giant train and carriages, similar to PRLR's Supertrain Megazord.

They yearly Japanese spoiler is upon us, and this year is no exception. And fortunatly, for the most part, it looks good. The past two seasons have seen us lumbered with a horrible semi-truck vehicle for the Rangers- this year, the Rangers will be equipped with a cool new SWAT armoured tank, which goes well with their brand new SWAT Mode Armor.

That's not all- like every year, the Red Ranger gains a Battilized Mode, and it looks like Jack is about to join the club. The Red Ranger will be getting Battililzer armour in the style of R.I.C.- that is to say, it looks like R.I.C. is going to BE his Battilizer Armour! Obviously, we wont know for sure until the episode airs, but it seems to be a safe bet

We also have the return of the A Squad Rangers, and Doggy Cruger will be getting his own wheels in the shape of his SPD Shasow ATV, similar to the ATVs of Dino Thunder.

Hola... I've started a new format for the "Weapons", "Allies" and "Villains" sections of the Database. The SPD section is the first to get the overhaul, and I think it make things a little easier to navigate. I'm also introducing internal databse entry interlinking, in which specific words or phrases within a database entry will, where possible, link to another relevent section within the site. I hope it makes it an interesting and a little more fun experience. Once the SPD section is bang up to date, I'll start working backwards, applying the modifications, and completing the outstanding sections as I go.

Bandai UK Ltd Customer Services have confirmed that the DX Mezodon Megazord WILL see a release in the UK, and it'll be exclusive to catalogue-shopping store Argos. It wont be seen until July at the earliest, but we suspect it'll feature in the Winter 2005 Catalogue, which is usually released in August. No price has been named as of yet, but it's likely to be between £40.00 and £47.00.

"Egmont is set to unveil Power Rangers Dino Thunder, a new monthly magazine based on the popular Power Rangers TV series.

The magazine is aimed at four to seven year-old boys, runs to 32 pages and goes on sale on 6 April priced £1.75. It will have an initial print run of 75,000.

Power Rangers Dino Thunder will contain puzzles, stories, games, posters and colouring challenges, and will feature a combination of large, action-based visuals and small 'bite sized' chunks of text which Egmont hopes will make the magazine "easier to navigate and more accessible for young boys".

The title will also come with a series of branded covermounts.

It will receive marketing support from the owner of the Power Rangers brand, Disney, as well as in-store and third party promotions.

The launch coincides with the new Dino Thunder series which is set to broadcast on GMTV during Spring 2005.

Debbie Cook, publisher of Egmont Magazines said: "The Power Rangers brand is refreshed each year with the launch of a new TV programme and toy range. The magazine will also be updated each year with a new logo and content which will add to the longevity and appeal of the title."

Evil Emperor Gruumm, the commander of a battle space ship, orders his crew to head toward Earth. Under the command of Anubus "Doggie" Cruger, a highly trained unit of police, the Space Patrol Delta, or S.P.D., has been formed to keep the peace. Three young cadets who comprise the B Squad- Sky, Bridge and Syd, train using special powers. They hope to someday work their way up to the A Squad, the elite team of cadets who are the Power Rangers. Meanwhile in a rundown part of town, we meet Jack and Z, two young thieves who have spent their lives helping the less fortunate of the city get clothes and food. The B Squad is sent to investigate the two thieves, but Jack and Z elude them, displaying special powers as well. Cruger finds that Gruumm is heading to Earth and gives Sky, Syd and Bridge S.P.D. morphers. The three cadets confront Jack and Z again, but the group is attacked by Krybots, Gruumm's legion of Troobian Footsoldiers. Seeing a chance to escape, Jack and Z flee the scene, leaving the others to fight the Krybots, but even with their Ranger powers, Blue, Pink and Green Rangers have a tough time. Jack and Z go back to help and together, they defeat the Krybots. Z and Jack decide to join the B Squad.

"Confronted"

Jack finds out that being the Red Ranger also means being the leader of the team. The A Squad Power Rangers are sent into space to fight the Troobians when Gruumm launches an attack in a nearby nebula. With the B Squad left as Earth's defenders, the others begin to doubt Jack's competence as their leader. Gruumm's assistant, the evil child Mora, helps him by drawing evil creatures and bringing them to life.

"Walls"

Sky is still reeling from the fact that he is not the Red Ranger. He refuses to participate is group activities. After Jack and Bridge are given powered up bikes, Sky has just about had it. Meanwhile, Gruumm has hatched a plan to steal a truckload of diamonds to be converted to an energy source.

"Dogged"

Piggy sells Rhinix a potion that turns people into a gooey fuel. Meanwhile, Syd is annoyed by RIC, the SPD robotic dog who is always malfunctioning. When RIC follows Syd on an assignment to investigate the missing people, Syd tells him not to get in her way. She gets Piggy to help her and finds some residual goo at the crime scene. Krybots attack and Syd is in big trouble. RIC leaps in and takes a laser hit intended for Syd. He is severely damaged and Cruger regrets to tell everyone that RIC is beyond repair. He is deactivated. Syd has grown fond of the pup and asks Bridge and Boom to try and fix him.

ABC Family has announced that the newest season of PR, "Power Rangers SPD" will debut Saturday 5th February at 8:30am. The premiere will consist of the first two episodes of SPD, and will be repeated on Toon Disney during the following week, on the 7th and 11th of February.

SMUDNY (Aug 12th - December 14th): You will encounter a reluctant thief, who must be forced to rob you. Lucky MnM - red.

Some UK residents may have noticed that various toy retailers have begun selling new PRDT stock ahead of Christmas. It would seem that the PRNS toys are now being discontinued, so grab what you can before it's gone. Of the new line-up, we have so far spotted: PRDT ATVs; PRDT 30cm talking dolls; Raptor Riders; Battlized Rangers; the Thundermax Sabre and the DX Thundersaurus Megazord. As the new PRDT line is officially launched in February, many places are due to or have already begun selling PRNS stock at reduced prices in order to clear shelves. Watch out for cheap toys in the January sales.

You may have noticed that we have been down a lot more frequently than usual this month. This is due to a few silly reasons, but hopefully our server torubles are all sorted out now. A new image of the Commander Anubis "Doggie" Crugertoy is now available. The figure of Doggie in his unmorphed state will be available in the 5" toy line. In Power Rangers SPD, Doggie is the mentor to the team, who becomes the sixth member (even though his numerical designation is 100). He is not to be confused with Deka Brake, the Ranger numerically designated number VI.

This past year, ViRgE, a Rangerboard member from the US has been supplying the PR community with PR episode Torrents as well as watchable PRDT encodes right after each new episode. More Magiranger toy pictures have begun seeping onto the Internet this week. Two such scans detail the Rangers new Morphers, which indeed take the form of a Cell Phone/Magic Wand hybrid device. The Morphers are visually similar to the Growl Phones of PRWF.

The second Magiranger picture depicts the new Zords, Megazord, and the new evil Rangers.

The Magiranger will also have individual Ranger transporters in the form of "Flying Broomsticks", but in a futuristic Ranger style. We dont have a name for them just yet, so we'll call them Battle Brooms.

The first teaser for Magiranger, the magic-themed sentai series for 2005 has been released. The new picture shows the five MagiRangers, their morphers, and their new Zords. It seems that the new Rangers will use morphers based on a Cell Phone / Magic Wand design. There is current speculation that instead of commanding the new mecha, the Rangers will instead, bond with them, akin to the methods of Kakuranger. The new series will begin airing in Japan on February 12th 2005.
