Kim stood along the beach with her shawl blowing in the wind. She flipped back her hair and tossled it a bit before placing her blanket down on the sparkly sand. She ran a hand down her arm, shivering as the cold breeze pass through her. "Why is it so cold all of a sudden?" As if everything stopped, she got up to look around. 'This is weird...........'

Everything around her changed. People weren't moving, tides paused in mid air, and nothing made a sound.
