I have pictures first.
Screenshots are here (0.5mb each). Please remember screen shots only reprosent the paused quality, it looks better moving. Any stretching is due to image capture process, video is not at all stretched.

Packaging
The box on this set is suprisingly presentable. Though only card, it is strong and very stable. The print on it is high resolution, and the ranger helmets and the logo are glossed over to make them shiney. The spine design has a sticker saying 'Season1' and has the red and yellow helmets. This implies season 2 will have pink and blue, season 3 black and white. This will make up an overall spine image, very nice, and thought out. There are 5 individual plastic slimline cases within the box, each containing one disc, except for the final which has 2. These each have a defined cover, disc 1, disc 2 etc. They are good quality cases.
Overall, the set is very proffesional, and highly presentable. Easily as good a quality as box's of the most popular series on TV.
Discs are printed with holographic designs, again, proffesional and impressive. Discs appear to be of a high quality and arrived immaculate.
Menu's
The discs each open with a compulsory forgery notice in German, they then go into an unskipable video from the company, CoK that produced the set. This is annoying, but is short and expected on almost all DVDs.
The menu opens up into an initial language selection screen. German selection automatically turns default audio to German on episodes, activates German only extras, and German Menus. The selection of English does the same, but for English. Extras are not accesable on the English menu. The menu's are an attractive chrome style with the MMPR theme in the background and some simple interactive effects. Some money was clearly invested to make these look decent.
On disc 6, I had some problems in which the episode Enter the Lizzinator had been swapped with another, so the episode selection is innacurate. This is a somewhat careless mistake, but not one I am overly fussed about.
Video
The video quality is amazingly high. The best quality encodes on this site are about comparable. Every single episode is of this quality. No logos of any sort are present. The quality is margianlly different from episode to episode, this does not effect viewing pleasure. There is some slight pixelation from frame to frame, on occasion. This is so slight it is hardly worth mentioning, for the age of the video, it is totally understandable.
Each episode has individual opening and closing credits that match the episode. All episode titles and 'to be continued' signs are in german regardless of language settings. All other credits are english.
Audio
Audio is 2 channel, not 5.1 surround. However, the quality is clear and crisp to the average, non critical viewer. It lines up with episodes well. All episodes have full German audio, and all but Green With Evil Part 1, Island Of Illusion part 1 and The spit Flower have english audio. The three that do not, play with german audio on english settings. CoK have promised replacement discs with the correct audio to all european countries.
Overall
I am incredibly pleased with this buy. It reaks of quality and thought, and is a worthy first release for MMPR. It could be improved with the menu error fixing, and the remaining english audio's being added. The addition of Digital remastering and 5.1 audio would be nice also, but are not needed. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. Its a wicked set.
Go to www.amazon.de for your set. Search Power Rangers.
Thanks for reading my review.
PS- IF A MOD THINKS THIS THREAD IS BETTER PLACED IN MERCHANDISE< PLEASE MOVE IT THERE, I FELT GENERAL DISCUSION WAS MORE APPROPRIATE.
