Alright we have been getting some debate on the merrits of Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. So here is you chance to judge it and any of the other seasons. I only ask a few rules be followed. 1) No posting it sucks!!! and not backing it up. Give reasons this should take more then a couple of words good or bad. 2)Fallow the Boards rules be respectfull of other opinions. 3) Please actualy watch more then one episode before you judge anything. Ok now lets play nice and have fun.

My verdict is good. It's really entertaining! I also really like the characters. It's just a good series!

Ok I hate to ask it but what do you like about those aspects. Frankly the writting is bad even for children shows. Granted its getting better but its week. The charachters are well a mix some good some just ridiculus. The villiians are corney and basicly there is not much of a story there just thin plots with lots of cheap action. They do seem to be doing more of there own stuff wich is cool but still. I wouldnt say its bad just not good either. Kind of reminds me of wildforce.

That's pretty much how I feel too. I haven't really kept up with Overdrive as it airs, I just watch the repeats every now and then. To me, Overdrive has continued the boring, mediocrity set up during SPD. I watch a rerun, but unlike MMPR to PRTF and PRDT, I can't really get into the series anymore and watch the episode more than once or twice. I honestly haven't even continued making DVDs since a few eps into season 2, collected any merchandise, or even come to this or any of the other ranger forums in a while because I've lost interest since Overdrive started.

I have been watching the show for 15 years now and there have been seasons that where not very good. IE Wildforce. But they at least had some episodes you could get into. I have yet to see one from OO that is a WOW episode.

Same here. Mystic Force didn't really have any of those really good episodes either. Plot devices that could have been explored and used better were wrapped up too quickly or came out of left field (the finale and Matoombo being good, respectively, are two examples of this). SPD had these kind things too (Omega and Shadow's introduction, the team ups with DT), but a few episodes of SPD were good. Kalish's Power Rangers seasons just aren't as entertaining and, like you said, Roguefan, haven't been wowing seasons alltogether. I don't have high hopes for this nonsensical anniversary teamup either

Ahh but mystic force kept you entertained with the story. That had some of the best charachter stories of any of the seasons which made up for some of its other short comings. PROO has potential they just arent exposing it.
