German DVD studio Foreign Media Group have announced the release of the complete Season One of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This 6-disc set includes all 60 episodes of the first year of Power Rangers, as well as some special features. Both the English language and German language soundtracks will be availible on the new set. Foreign Media Group have revealed that they intend to continue releasing the rest of MMPR on DVD if sales from this set are popular enough.

Well it is selling for 25 euros which is about 34-35 US dollars not to mention shipping charges which will probably bring the total to around 50$. Amazon.de is a German site so either you need a lang. translator or can read German. If these are good and I hear good things about them I might fork out the money and get them. But this is definitely a good sign of progress. And that pic looks very sim. to the original movie pic except missing white ranger.

Yup thanks for that as others can now read. Basically it is about 50$US and in PAL format and not region 1 but region 2. So if your DVD player only plays region 1 these will not work for you and also even if you have a player that plays all regions your setup needs to be compatible with PAL as most are standard with NTSC, which is what Canada and US uses. SO check to see if your player can play PAL and read DVD's from other regions first before one would to buy these.

there is always another option ... you can rip the encodes with the english audio track to your pc and then burn you own DVDs

Menus and features are in German ... the episodes will have both German and English audio tracks!

Yes all the episodes are available in english and german audio except fro green with evil part one... before the episode it comes up with a message saying something about it "Being the mid 90's" and they were not "able to obtain the english audio track for that episode" but it says if you want a dvd upgrade contact info@companyofkids.com...
its a bit gay but maybe they send you the upgraded disc.?

'The Spit Flower' (Disc 3)

'Island of illusion' Part 1 (Disc 3)

I bring good news from Ranger Board; people are buying the set and it includes the three episodes mentioned with their English audio tracks. As far as I know, if you go and buy the set now, all the episodes will be in English. More good news: Season Two is coming on 9/21. Its main extra: Power Rangers World Tour Live On Stage. Finally, it's confirmed, as far as I know, that the company will do Season Three, Zeo, Turbo, in Space, Lost Galaxy, and Wild Force. They are not planning on doing the other seasons, but I'm happy because they will include up to in Space, the true final season for Power Rangers before the seasons became stand-alone. All in all, good news. :)

Does anyone know if these DVDs are subtitled in English? For me, I'm hearing impaired and I loved the Power Rangers. The DVD's look good but I would only buy them if they have english subtitles. Does anyone know?
