Many years ago there was a story that faded into legend, about a great being
of evil called the Shadow King and his army of the lost soul who waged a war
against all things that where good and light in the world. His cruelty and
hatred knew no bounds and he killed thousands before anyone rose up to challenge him. The forces of good called out to all things good and true in the universe asking for there aid, since none of their magic would harm the Shadow King or his army of shades. Their call was answered and they were given five talismans and told that they would only work in the hands of those who were worthy enough for the power. The talismans were sent to the pockets of good hiding in the far ends of the earth to see if the talismans responded to anyone in those lands.

The five individuals chosen by the talismans returned to capital of the rebel
forces on the island of Anon. They met the Shadow King and his forces in defense of the island and after a great battle the five warriors gave up their lives to imprison the Shadow King in a prison labyrinth in another dimension.

In memory of the five warriors a great temple of peace was constructed. The great temple was made of five smaller temples that form a pentagon encircling the large main temple that housed the stone that marked the entrance to the Shadow King's prison. The smaller temples housed shrines to each of the warriors and their talismans wood, fire, earth, metal, and water. Those where the gold days the temple was a beacon to those who wished to make the world a safe place for mankind to live and became a great center of eduction and understanding, however those days were not to last forever.

The King of Anon began to deal with other jealous ruler who wanted not only the temple but the talismans for their own. The island soon fell under attacks from those other countries and the King made a fateful decision to use the talismans to repel the enemy forces. The Guardian of the Temple was the king's own daughter who refused to allow the king's soldiers access to the temple and had the temple guards block all the gates. With the threat of war looming the King ordered his men to storm the temple and seize the talismans, but when they arrived at the temple they found it abandon and the talismans missing. Fearing that he had angered the forces that he called on to help his land he withdrew his people from the lands around the temple and struck any mention of the temple from the records of the kingdom.

Over the years the temple faded from memory into legend and then it was
forgotten. A volcanic eruption that destroyed a neighboring island covered the
temple in ash and soot and removed any trace of it's existence from the surface world. It wasn't until nearly a thousand years later that the temple would see the light of day.

The Pacific Rim is know for being very tectonically active with large amounts of volcanic activity and earthquakes. One such event occurred on a cold winter's day on the ocean floor just to the west side of Anon Island, when the 6.5 magnitude earthquake hit much of the island was effected. Building and homes where damaged and roadways where destroyed and a large stink hole was discovered just outside of Vermilion City. In the sink way the top of a structure was discovered, with further excavation the structure was discovered to be a large temple structure. The Temple had suffered damage from the earthquake and inside the largest temple in the structure they discovered a blackened stone that the upper half of the stone had been shattered. The stone has been removed to the Vermilion City Museum, where it is being studied by archaeologist and other scientists to learn more about the people who built the structure.

What wasn't know to the scientists was that the stone itself was the gate to the Shadow King's prison, and with the wards now broken the Shadow King was able to escape. He is now gathering together his forces to once again conquer the world, but what he does not know is that the talismans still exist. The guardian of the temple have been waiting in another dimension for a sign that the world needed the warriors again. One day the talismans disappeared and returned to their places in the temple ruins waiting for their new warriors to come and claim them.

Where does the story go from there? Only time will tell...

Currently all Power Ranger slots have been filled...sorry. :( However characters can be brought into the world for play until a ranger slot opens! Just include the ranger color you would like in your Bio! There is no limitation on who can be what color ranger aka females can be red rangers, etc. Villains have been created but need players, and there is always a need for good bad guys! Thanks!
