This was an original post of mine from the old rangerforums site and I copied it and posted it on Ester's site and it sure was a good thing I did too with the old site being no more so for those who would like these can still download them. All files should be active but if not just ask for a re-up.

Edit: These eps were taken from youtube and then reformatted and expanded out to the max. in avi format instead of a 30-40MB flash file format. They are all 320x240 and around 100MB, if there are others VR Troopers eps from youtube you would like me to upload the same way, like from another season or something let me know.

Ah you guys are welcome and they might be 91 eps but that was what I was given from youtube on the search so if you can find the missing ones on youtube I would be happy to put them up.

Well, there's got to be at least one more, or I'm overlooking it. The episode with the 'duplitron' computers, if memory serves. They would type something into the computer, and it would create what was typed. Like, they type 'menu' thinking it's a real computer, and it creates a restaurant menu.

I think Percy steals it later on, and uses it to create a car, and lots of money.

Ended up being an evil plot, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. I seem to recall a computer-based monster, though.

Of course, it's been about, oh, ten years since I've seen the ep, so my memory's a bit sketchy.

Five years ago or so when VR was on tv I only watched a slim few eps and now I see lots of people are in to the show. Great news. To tell ya the truth I did forget about them until a month or so back when the request came to me from the old site. I do remember now how I thought the theme song was cool; VR, we are VR, we are, we are VR...a very cool song.

And as for the episode, I don't recall virtually any of them (bad pun not intended). The only VR Troopers I ever watched were mostly prior to 45, and most of my time with the series came from a set of action figures that went with the series. What happened to those now, I wonder...?

Dumb question - I went from watching pre-eps. 50 to episode 60, and noticed quite a change in Grimlord and the VR outfits (namely, Ryans). Was there a significant reasoning for this that I missed, both in the US and Japanese shows?

I would like to see Masked Rider. That was one of my fav. shows. But first I like to say welcome here and thank you for putting up the VR eps. There are some that can not access Youtube to watch your eps and those who just like to watch eps when ever they want without an internet connection for Youtube to view. I actually can not use the search features on Youtube but with direct links I can use the website. Glad you don't mind me doing this and lots of people enjoy and are thankful. I can say that it takes about 50-60 mins total time to convert each episode. There are lots of free sites that allow people to download from Youtube or AOL or Google or Newground or Myspace or any of those kinds of flash videos. I then use a special 'Quicktime' converter for flash to avi; and the program keeps the same screen size, frame rate and audio rate using a hybrid Xvid codec along with mp3. I am very impressed with the quality that this program can prduce from the flash files. If you like me to stop converting your videos I'll respect the request and let the users know that I will stop and terminate all the download links and the reason why but I like to know how you found out about me? I know my name is making it's way around the net and folks message me about lots of stuff and different topics, I assume they trust what I have to say cause I do not beat around the bush.

A good selection of forums are talking, but this is the only ive found where its been explored further. Go right ahead with the encoding, I don’t mind. Ok hope this can help a few people out
V.R. Troopers used footage from 3 japan metal hero shows.
Space Sheriff Shaider, Dimensional Warrior Spielban, and Super Machine Metalder.

Metalder is where most of VR Ryan's footage is from, while they did make a us VR costume for in the in the lab shots and when all 3 of our beloved team were together most of the fighting scenes is footage from Metalder. This is why we never see all 3 of them in a serious fight. . We also get the "DarkHeart" from this series.

Spielban is where V.R. JB and Katlyn's footage come from. if my memory serves me correctly Skugs, Icebot, and the General that drove the tank, i cant remember his name. come from here that is why they are always shown in another room or reflected on the floor, they are put there from the other footage.

I'm not to sure why Ryan's second costume looked like i remember it was blue though witch leads me to believe that it was taken from Space Sheriff Shaider because Metalder had 39 Epps and a movie where as Troopers had over 90.

Don't mean to sound like a complainer, but the encode for episode 34-Defending Dark Heart Part 4 is cut short. Basically the file doesn't contain the full episode and the file is a bit small too. If anyone can re-upload this episode in it's entirety that be great. I just checked and the full episode is on Youtube still.
Yeah I guess you are correct. I never noticed that before. Wonder how it got that way? Well I will redo the episode. Also I am thrilled to still see or read people like VR Troopers.

Well you guys are welcome but all I did was take from Youtube and re-convert to avi; a bit more of a manageable format than flash, well for some at least. And user Netdave is the person who uploaded to Youtube in the first place. As I have said I am happy to help folks out with any other videos from Youtube as they are becoming more strict and deleting more questionable material. And the best part is I do without asking for anything in return. :)

Hey guys. There's another VR Troopers music video online now. It's another pretty dark one.

As for the pilot episode I actually have a bunch of clips from it that were on a special limited promotion video I got with a Power Rangers tape a long time ago. The different footage shown is pretty much alternate version stuff from the first two episodes. It shows the troopers getting a message from Professor Heart over the phone at first, and there's a little bit of a different short speech Ziktor gives to his lizard at the beginning of the first episode. The best part is when Ziktor says, "What does a man who already owns half the world want the most? That's right. The other half." The most notable difference is, it seems in the pilot Kaitlin doesn't work at the newspaper, but rather at the Dojo just like Ryan and JB. A very different part features Kaitlin showing a young boy she's teaching, that girls know martial arts as well. The rest of the footage given is the same. The Troopers driving to the lab, getting their powers, and of course the japanese footage used is the same. Only one piece of footage from the lab is different. For one clip shown, Jeb wears this piece of black head gear he never wears for the rest of the series.

After watching the first two episodes again, you can actually tell which footage from the first two episodes comes from the pilot. Any footage where Kaitlin's hair is in a ponytail is from the pilot. Any footage where her hair is more down, and she's wearing her red dress, it's the new footage they re-filmed. My guess is, they threw in Kaitlin working at the newspaper to make another hang out place, and to create some more story, and so that the series wasn't too much like Power Rangers.

I have to say sorry now though, because I don't have the right technology to transmit footage from an old VHS tape onto my computer. I should say though, that the different footage isn't super impressive. It may make you interested in VR Troopers, but it makes the series way more similar to Power Rangers. In the end, the redone footage in the actual first two episodes is way better. Hope this information is found interesting by some.

Hey thanks i did not know that, I'll have to look for that pony tail.
I know its hard getting VHS tapes on to the computer, you need a TV tuner device with a VCR hooked up to it. atleast thats how i do my vhs caps.
VCR hooked to USB TV Tuner hooked to computer, lets me watch tv and vhs tapes on my computer.
Anyhow, i was most intreseted in it to have a peice of VR Troopers history and to see the in the lab shots; I herd Prof Heart looks totaly different.

Actually I don't think Profesor Heart was even in the lengthy promo I have, so I wouldn't know or have that material. The only footage of the lab that's different from what I have, is different shots of Jeb. Apparently there is a real pilot out there, but it does lack the stronger storyline the real first two episodes had, and if it's like the lengthy promo I have, it just shows off alot of the japanese action footage they had in the end. A whole lot more than they had in the first two episodes. The pilot from what I know was really made to just dazzle viewers with that stuff. Still, from the bit of the pilot I've seen, Brad Hawkins seemed to have his character of Ryan down immediatly. There is also an even shorter promo on some old Power Rangers 1994 VHS Tapes that feature PR season 2 episodes on them. I have that one too. That contains quit a bit of the alternative footage as well. Oh yeah, and from the footage of the pilot I've seen, Jeb has a different voice. His first words are "Whoah, I can talk."

Could you please re-upload "Quest For Power Part 5"? Every time I try to download it, it says that I exceeded the download limit, saying I have to wait 2 minutes. I wait 2 minutes, and still it says I have to wait 2 minutes after I try to download it. So I wait 10 minutes, and it does the same thing.
EDIT- 3:39 AM (GMT)- Okay, now whenever I try to download "Quest For Power Part 5", it still says that I exceeded the download limit, but this time it says that the download didn't go through, so I try it again, but it does the same thing again.9 I've been trying to download it for a long time. I've tried restarting my computer, but nothing works. Is something wrong with the site, or does the download not work. Yes I can also look in to that link for Quest #5. Every now and then Megaupload restructures their servers with all free files on them to either add more space or replace hard drives that go bad or regular/routine maintenance and when uploading there is a disclaimer stating that some files may be lost over time so do not rely on this site as your only means of backup, which pretty much says we do not guarantee anything but will be happy to take your money for non-guaranteed services, lol.

Now for you to use I would wait another day or to be really nice for ya if you ask nicely I could upload the file on Sendspace as an alternative.

Edit: These eps were taken from youtube and then reformatted and expanded out to the max. in avi format instead of a 30-40MB flash file format. They are all 320x240 and around 100MB, if there are others VR Troopers eps from youtube you would like me to upload the same way, like from another season or something let me know.
