Ethan is a self-confessed computerphile, and a champion gamer. His spiritual home is Hayley's Cyberspace, and is run by his friend and fellow computer genius Hayley, who was responsible for the creation of the the Dino Thunder Morphers. 

As Ethan's passion in life is computers, he feels right at home in Tommy's secret Dino Thunder lab, having shown himself capable of easily hacking into its systems in a short time.

Ethan transforms into the Blue Ranger with the Tricera Morpher and the power of the Blue Dino Gem. His Gem gives him DNA armour power, allowing his skin to become a tough and protective shielding. This defensive theme continues in his arsenal, as his personal weapon is the Tricera Shield. Like the other Rangers, Blue Ranger also has a Raptor Rider and Raptor Cycle. The Blue Ranger  commands the Tricera Zord in battle.
