As a child, the young Taylor knew of the legend of Anamaria. While on a flight with her mother, Taylor witnessed the Anamarium floating in the sky. It was this event that motivated Taylor into a career in the Air Force. When the adult Taylor was on a routine flight in her jet, she encountered the huge Eagle Zord, flying alongside her.

The Eagle led her to the Animarium, where her jet had engine trouble. Taylor was forced to land, and set down on the Animarium. Shortly after, Taylor first encountered Princess Shayla, and she became the Yellow Wild Force Ranger. For a brief time, Taylor was the only Ranger, and took it upon herself to aclimatize Shayla to the world.

Later in the year, the Wild Force team was complete with the addition of Cole. As Cole assumed the mantle of the Red Ranger, he also assumed the responsibilities of leader of the team. This upset the balance, as up until this point, Taylor had been the leader, and even gone so far as to write a Ranger Handbook. Over the course of time, Taylor came to accept Cole as a leader, and even developed a sense of respect for him.

When the Rangers defeated the Orgs, Taylor decided to return to the Air Force, where she was was admired by the junior squadrens. Even though she wasnt a Ranger anymore, the Yellow Eagle still flew alongside her jet.
