Carlos is a good looking, 17 year old Mexican American. He is a good student, popular with the other kids, and is the star if the Angel Grove high soccer team. What's more, He happens to be every girls dream date! Carlos ca be headstrong at times, and has a strong sense of justice always seeing a situation as either black or white.

As the Black Ranger, Carlos is the second in command of the Ranger team. His personal weapon is the Lunar Lance. Black Ranger also commands the Quadroblaster, the combined force of the Yellow, Blue, Pink and Black Mega weapons.
