Zack Taylor

A good kid with a good heart and a boundless supply of energy, Zack is in love with life. He lights up the room the minute he walks into it and is truly everybody's friend. Very clever, streetwise and a smooth talker, Zack is always smart and has the ability to disarm his adversaries with a quick smile and a smooth line. He can charm anyone. Zack's passion in life is music and dance. He loves all kinds from Handel to Hip Hop. and can dance to any beat. He is also an accomplished gymnast, often combining his dance and martial arts skills to form a style he calls Hip Hop Kiddo. 

Quite intelligent as well as courageous, Zack uses his intelligence to provide a balance to Jason's gung-ho style. He will often act as the voice of caution, especially when a situation is unclear of overly dangerous. and he always goes with never failing intuition. Intuition is the guide of Zack's life- a fact that is often reflected in the rationale for the decisions he makes which are often based on "gut feelings" As a Power Ranger, Zack' colour is Black, and he draws his power from the mighty Mastodon. His weapon is the Power Axe and he commands the Mastodon Dinozord.

When the World Teen Summit came to the Youth Center at Angel Grove, Zack was one of the candidates to be chosen to be a Teenage Peace Ambassador. Typically, our modest hero was genuinely surprised to have been selected, but accepted the honour proudly. His happiness was tinged with sadness, however, at the thought of having to leave the other Rangers back in Angel Grove. However, he knew that his new mission was just as important as the one he was leaving behind. He was thrilled when Zordon announced that the new Black Ranger would be his new friend Adam, Zack knew that Adam would fight valiantly for Zordon's cause against the worst the dark side could offer.
