Billy Cranston

Billy is an ultra-intelligent kid who has a bit of trouble communicating with us lesser evolved beings. Most people consider him a nerd, until they get to know him. The fact is, Billy is a sweet, good-hearted super genius who has focussed entirely on academics. He talks in techno-speak, using complicated language that only Trini seems to understand. 

Billy is fascinated by the world around him, and has a deep need to know how everything works. Little things like gamma rays any accelerated subatomic particles keep him happy and engaged. In spite of his intelligence, Billy is a bit shy and reserved, except when he is with his fellow Power Rangers. It is with them that he feels at home and free to really be himself. As a Power Ranger, Billy dons the Blue uniform and wields the Power Lance.  

Originally, he controlled the Triceratops, but when  Zedd came to Earth, he gained control of the Triceratops Unicorn Thunderzord. When these powers were destroyed, he gained the power of the Ninja Wolf, controlling the Wolf Zord and the Blue Shogun Zord.
